D.C.M Industrial Training Institute (I.T.I. ) is established at Mohanpur, Pradhankhanta - Dhanbad the coal city of JHARKHAND . It is born with the mission and foresightedness of the people of the society and is nurtured by the selfness and dedicated efforts of the founder of society.

D.C.M I.T.I. is situated at Mohanpur, Pradhankhanta-Dhanbad a coal city of JHARKHAND. It is located in a picturesque setting about Pradhankhanta railway station near route. The place is most suitable for an education Institute away from din and bustle of the main road. D.C.M I.T.I is approved and recognized by NCVT, DGE & T, Govt. of India & its certification is recognized all over India irrespective of Department and Government.

I . ELIGIBILITY : The candidate must have passed S.S.Examination/Matric/I.C.S.E/C.B.S.E or equivalent examination with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics.
II. AGE LIMIT : A Candidate seeking admission should not be older then 35 years on the 1st July of the year in which the session is starting. Relaxation in age is allowed to candidates belonging to SC/ST and other backward communities as per the rules of Govt. of Jharkhand.
III. PHYSICAL FITNESS : A candidate should be free evidence of any infections of contiguous disease.

Introduction

Department of Training & Technical Education, Government of India, in its endeavor to provide technical and skilled manpower suited to various needs of industry , is implementing Craftsman Training Scheme to impart training in technological and industrial skills through Industrial Training Institutes spread all over India. The Craftsman training scheme was introduced by Government of India in 1950 to ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades for the domestic industry, to raise quantitatively and qualitatively the industrial production through systematic training, to reduce unemployment among the educated youth by providing them employable training, to cultivate and nurture a technical and industrial attitude in the minds of younger generation. The scheme is vital in the field of vocational training, as it has been shaping Craftsman to meet the existing as well as future manpower needs through the vast network of ITIs in the Country.
